PRYOR, OKLA - GAC - Great American Country's most popular program, Country Music Across America, will be showcasing Country Fever (which took place June 12-15th, 2008 ) a total of 17 times over the next week!

RONNIE MILSAP TO HEADLINE AT COUNTRY FEVER 2007

PRYOR, OKLA - Catch the Fever Music Festivals has announced its Thursday headlining performer at Country Fever 2007 will be Ronnie Milsap. The 5th Annual Country Fever presented by Reasor's will take place June 7-10 at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor off Highway 69.

As Oklahoma's largest country music festival, Country Fever 2007 is proud to be an official Oklahoma Centennial event celebrating 100 years of statehood. While attending the Governor Moorhead School for the Blind as a child, Ronnie Milsap quickly caught the attention of his instructors with his musical talents. After having extensive classical training throughout his adolescence, Milsap chose to become a professional musician and recorded with musicians such as Chips Moman and Elvis Presley.

As a testament to his staying power in the music industry, Milsap has 40 number one hits on the country charts. Some of these hits include "Smoky Mountain Rain", "Any Day Now," "Lost in the Fifties Tonight," and "A Woman In Love." More recently, Milsap received a Grammy nod for best traditional pop recording with his 2004 album of standards titled Just For A Thrill.

BIG & RICH WITH COWBOY TROY TO HEADLINE AT COUNTRY FEVER 2007

PRYOR, OKLA - Catch the Fever Music Festivals has announced its Friday headlining performers at Country Fever 2007 will be Big & Rich, along with Cowboy Troy. The 5th Annual Country Fever presented by Reasor's will take place June 7-10 at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor off Highway 69.

As Oklahoma's largest country music festival, Country Fever 2007 is proud to be an official Oklahoma Centennial event celebrating 100 years of statehood. Big & Rich began with a chance meeting of John Rich and Big Kenny (real name Kenny Alphin) in a Nashville club. After becoming friends, the duo eventually started having impromptu jam sessions that soon turned into a weekly gig dubbed Muzik Mafia at a small Nashville bar called the Pub of Love.

In 2003 Martina McBride recorded a song by Big Kenny and Rich called "She's a Butterfly" for her self-titled effort. Soon after the duo landed a record deal, and Big & Rich was officially born. Their first album hit the top of the country charts with their breakout single, "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)."

Co-host of USA Network's Nashville Star, Cowboy Troy first made a name for himself playing clubs around Austin with his unique blend of country music and rap that was later termed "hick-hop." He's also known for his work with Big & Rich.

American country music icon Willie Nelson will play the Sixth Annual Country Fever Music Festival, June 12 -15, as announced by Country Music Festivals, Inc. Nelson will perform at the Country Music Fever Festival at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor, OK off Highway 69.

Willie Nelson, one of country music's most prolific stars, whose career has spanned over six decades, began writing hits for Ray Price and Patsy Cline. In 1975, Willie aligned himself with Waylon Jennings and the outlaw country movement that made him into a star. Later that same year Nelson released "Red Headed Stranger" and a cover of Roy Acuff.s "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" that sent Nelson to the top of the charts. For the next five years, Nelson consistently charted on both the country and pop charts, with "Remember Me," "If You've Got the Money I've Got the Time," and "Uncloudy Day" becoming Top Ten country singles in 1976.

Pryor Creek Music Festivals, Inc. announces Trace Adkins will be headlining Saturday Night at the Sixth Annual Country Fever June 12 -15, 2008 to be held at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds, four miles north of Pryor, OK off Highway 69.

Trace Adkins instantly recognizable baritone has been cutting through the airwaves and energizing concert hall speakers for well over a decade as he has established himself as a major force in contemporary country. Now, with the release of American Man, Greatest Hits Volume II, Trace Adkins collects the songs that have turned him from rising star to superstar.
